Pays tribute to the many rhythms and folk music of influenced by the continent of Africa. The work moves through four rhythms grounded in African tradition: Iyesa brought to Cuba from the Yoruba tribe of West Africa, Tui-Tui a traditional rhythm brought to Cuba from Nigeria, Bossa and Samba popular rhythms of Brazil whose roots were born in West Africa, and Bantu
(Angola, Congo, Zimbabwe and Mozambique}. Instrumentation: Claves, Cowbell, Timbales, Conga and Bongos
